Stewarding Seasons Well

‘For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.’ Ecclesiastes 3:1

It’s God’s desire that all His children go from glory to glory and God in His wisdom has designed our growth to occur across seasons. By His design all our seasons are interconnected however transitions across seasons aren’t automatic. Whether we do anything about it or not times and seasons will pass, but transitions must be intentional and a key to successfully transitioning across seasons is to steward the current season we’re in well.

This series we are looking into 5 areas we need to focus on to help us understand how to steward our seasons well trusting that the Holy Spirit will grant us revelation, insight and understanding so we always go from glory to glory. Click here to download the study.

The Battle Is The Lord’s

‘For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.’ Psalm 75:6-7

“When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with sword in hand. Joshua went up to him and demanded, “Are you friend or foe?” “Neither one,” he replied. “I am the commander of the Lord’s army…” Joshua 5:13-14

“Each year Elkanah would travel to Shiloh to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies at the Tabernacle…” 1 Samuel 1:3

“Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” I Samuel 17:47

The names of God reveal different aspects of His nature to us and this series the name we are focusing on is Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Heaven’s armies. This name tells us two things about God. One is that He is not stranger to war. Being made in His image and likeness means that we also have a warrior nature inbuilt within us, so battles shouldn’t scare us.

Two is that He has an entire heavenly army at His disposal which is always in operation on our behalf, even though we don’t see them with our natural eyes. Our understanding of how to deploy them or not will be seen in the results of of our lives.

This series as we dig deeper into exploring some of the Lord’s battles, our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to see the resources available to us and give us understanding of how to navigate the natural knowing we are backed by Jehovah Sabaoth. Click Here to download the study.

God’s Promotion System

‘For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.’ Psalm 75:6-7

As believers trusting God for promotion in the marketplace, it’s important that we know that God’s kingdom is extremely organized and structured. Just like business organisations, God also has a promotion system with eligibility criteria that anyone seeking promotion from God has to fulfil.

His criteria is not changeable for anyone so unlike people who may change promotion policies to suit people, God does not change His policies or His principles. A question to ask ourselves therefore is what is God’s criteria is and what are His principles for promotion.

This series we’re doing a study of people God promoted and drawing out the key principles we can learn from them. May the Lord give us understanding as He opens our eyes to how to align with His principles. Click here to download the study.

Unseen Battles

‘For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.’ 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (TPT)

Life is full of battles. Some of us are currently in one right now, others just entering and some are ending. Jesus Himself told us that we would have many things to contend with on this side of eternity, so this shouldn’t surprise us. Thankfully He didn’t leave us without hope. By winning the victory over the enemy and the kingdom of darkness, Jesus positioned us to always war from a position of having the upper hand. He also gave us several strategies for ensuring consistent victory.

This series we will go through 6 strategies, using 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 as our anchor scripture. Our prayer is that as we go through the series, the Holy Spirit will strengthen us and equip us to live a life of total victory. Click here to download the series.

Declaring – Shaping Your World With God’s Word

‘So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.’ Isaiah 55:11

‘For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.’ Hebrews 4:12

‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.’ Proverbs 18:21

The Lord has stated that His word will not return to Him void but will accomplish what He pleases. God’s word is alive and active, which means it can move and impact your spirit, soul and body. But if you do not read it, you will not know what is available to you. Beyond reading, you must also speak the word to transform and make an impact in your life.

When we speak God’s word, we shape lives, environments or destinies. So it’s important to know what to say and when. In this study we will look at some of the transformational declarations we should be speaking into our lives. Click here to download the study

Teach Us To Pray

“Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1

The disciples of Jesus asked him to teach them to pray the same way John the Baptist taught his disciples to pray which means there’s something about prayer that can be learned. Prayer is an important channel for connecting to divinity which is why the Bible places so much emphasis on it. Jesus Himself said we always ought to pray and not faint. Which means that if we are not praying we are fainting and prayer is like oxygen for a believer.

Since prayer is so vital, we’re trusting that the Holy Spirit will use this to teach us how to pray. What are the elements and principles of prayer? What are the lessons we can learn from the prayer life of Jesus and other key examples in the Bible?

We trust that as we go through the series the Holy Spirit will ignite in us a hunger for prayer and equip us with the capacity to pray. Click here to download the study

Dimensions of the Holy Spirit

‘And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.’ Isaiah 11:2

As part of our building capacity series we are going to explore critical role the Holy Spirit plays in equipping us to demonstrate the character and power of God in and through our lives. This series we will focus on the six dimensions of the Holy Spirit as we dive deep into Isaiah 11:2.

God in His infinite wisdom has designed our journey in a way that helps us take advantage of each dimension of the Holy Spirit, going into deeper levels of His operation in our lives as we increase in our capacity.

Our prayer is that the Lord will open our eyes to how to consistently align with the Holy Spirit as He leads us along the best pathways of our lives. Click here to download the study.

Building Capacity

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20 AMP

Blessings and prophecy are important parts of the journey of a believer, however an often overlooked but critical aspect of our success in this journey is capacity. Capacity is required to fully actualise what we’ve been anointed for.

God’s capacity is infinite and He is able to do all things, but He works with the capacity we have. When we ask God to bless and enlarge us, we’re asking Him to enlarge our capacity so we can contain more of who and what He is. This means that if we don’t understand how to increase in capacity, we may go through life never fully achieving all God intends for us.

Capacity isn’t imparted or derived, it comes through process and God has a process for enlargement. Our prayer is that as we look at how God enlarges and builds capacity in us, the Holy Spirit will open our understanding and help us recognise and cooperate with His process. Finding Treasures Within Us

“For surely there is a latter end [a future and a reward], and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18

We all have many expectations, all of which are important to us. But sometimes we are like people coming to fetch water from the ocean with a teaspoon. Because of what we have been unconsciously conditioned to accept, we tend to place our hopes and expectations on external things that will eventually come to an end. Meanwhile the Lord would have us place our expectations on the things that will have significant impact on our lives both in time and eternity. Once we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, we immediately have access to all we need to live a successful life by God’s standards. However, if we don’t know what we have we won’t know what to place a demand on.

This series we’re exploring six treasures that Holy Spirit makes available to us which are key to us living a life filled with the fullness of God. We are trusting that the Holy Spirit will reveal to us how much we carry and how we can find all of who God designed us to be in Him. Click here to download the study.

Blessings & Prophecies of The Sons of Jacob

“Then Jacob called together all his sons and said, “Gather around me, and I will tell you what will happen to each of you in the days to come.” Genesis 49:1

Jacob (Israel) had 12 sons and each son’s story is full of intrigue, blessings, and prophecy. While the actual sons were blessed by their father Jacob just before he died, Moses also blessed their descendants before they entered the promised land. As spiritual descendants of Abraham, we also have access to their blessings and can glean wisdom from the prophecies concerning them.

This series we are exploring the twelve sons of Jacob and the blessings and prophecy associated with each one. Click here to download the study.
