Declaring – Shaping Your World With God’s Word

‘So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.’ Isaiah 55:11

‘For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.’ Hebrews 4:12

‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.’ Proverbs 18:21

The Lord has stated that His word will not return to Him void but will accomplish what He pleases. God’s word is alive and active, which means it can move and impact your spirit, soul and body. But if you do not read it, you will not know what is available to you. Beyond reading, you must also speak the word to transform and make an impact in your life.

When we speak God’s word, we shape lives, environments or destinies. So it’s important to know what to say and when. In this study we will look at some of the transformational declarations we should be speaking into our lives. Click here to download the study

Teach Us To Pray

“Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1

The disciples of Jesus asked him to teach them to pray the same way John the Baptist taught his disciples to pray which means there’s something about prayer that can be learned. Prayer is an important channel for connecting to divinity which is why the Bible places so much emphasis on it. Jesus Himself said we always ought to pray and not faint. Which means that if we are not praying we are fainting and prayer is like oxygen for a believer.

Since prayer is so vital, we’re trusting that the Holy Spirit will use this to teach us how to pray. What are the elements and principles of prayer? What are the lessons we can learn from the prayer life of Jesus and other key examples in the Bible?

We trust that as we go through the series the Holy Spirit will ignite in us a hunger for prayer and equip us with the capacity to pray. Click here to download the study

Dimensions of the Holy Spirit

‘And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.’ Isaiah 11:2

As part of our building capacity series we are going to explore critical role the Holy Spirit plays in equipping us to demonstrate the character and power of God in and through our lives. This series we will focus on the six dimensions of the Holy Spirit as we dive deep into Isaiah 11:2.

God in His infinite wisdom has designed our journey in a way that helps us take advantage of each dimension of the Holy Spirit, going into deeper levels of His operation in our lives as we increase in our capacity.

Our prayer is that the Lord will open our eyes to how to consistently align with the Holy Spirit as He leads us along the best pathways of our lives. Click here to download the study.

Building Capacity

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20 AMP

Blessings and prophecy are important parts of the journey of a believer, however an often overlooked but critical aspect of our success in this journey is capacity. Capacity is required to fully actualise what we’ve been anointed for.

God’s capacity is infinite and He is able to do all things, but He works with the capacity we have. When we ask God to bless and enlarge us, we’re asking Him to enlarge our capacity so we can contain more of who and what He is. This means that if we don’t understand how to increase in capacity, we may go through life never fully achieving all God intends for us.

Capacity isn’t imparted or derived, it comes through process and God has a process for enlargement. Our prayer is that as we look at how God enlarges and builds capacity in us, the Holy Spirit will open our understanding and help us recognise and cooperate with His process. Finding Treasures Within Us

“For surely there is a latter end [a future and a reward], and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18

We all have many expectations, all of which are important to us. But sometimes we are like people coming to fetch water from the ocean with a teaspoon. Because of what we have been unconsciously conditioned to accept, we tend to place our hopes and expectations on external things that will eventually come to an end. Meanwhile the Lord would have us place our expectations on the things that will have significant impact on our lives both in time and eternity. Once we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, we immediately have access to all we need to live a successful life by God’s standards. However, if we don’t know what we have we won’t know what to place a demand on.

This series we’re exploring six treasures that Holy Spirit makes available to us which are key to us living a life filled with the fullness of God. We are trusting that the Holy Spirit will reveal to us how much we carry and how we can find all of who God designed us to be in Him. Click here to download the study.

Blessings & Prophecies of The Sons of Jacob

“Then Jacob called together all his sons and said, “Gather around me, and I will tell you what will happen to each of you in the days to come.” Genesis 49:1

Jacob (Israel) had 12 sons and each son’s story is full of intrigue, blessings, and prophecy. While the actual sons were blessed by their father Jacob just before he died, Moses also blessed their descendants before they entered the promised land. As spiritual descendants of Abraham, we also have access to their blessings and can glean wisdom from the prophecies concerning them.

This series we are exploring the twelve sons of Jacob and the blessings and prophecy associated with each one. Click here to download the study.

The Blessing Our Inheritance

“… And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree.” Romans 11:17

Most believers are aware that through Jesus we have the gift of salvation, but that’s not all we have received. Imagine someone having a wonderful inheritance available but the person doesn’t read the will where the details of the inheritance are contained. Such a person can go through life struggling to get the things that provision has already been made for in the will.

This is the same way through the death and resurrection of Jesus we not only have access to gift of salvation , but also the blessing God promised Abraham and his children. However, if we don’t know what we have access to we won’t take advantage of it and will end up living below God’s ideal for us.
This series we’re going through what was promised to Abraham and we trust the Holy Spirit to guide us and open our eyes this series to our inheritance. Click here to download the series.

Clarity – Let There Be Light!

“The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” Genesis 1:2-3

We all have questions about life that give us reason to pause. Questions such as, “what do I do now?”, “what do I do next?”, “where do I go from here?”, “how do I grow my business/career?”, “who do I marry?” and much more. What stops us from moving forward beyond the questions is a lack of clarity- not knowing what to do. And not knowing can keep us in a state of darkness, confusion and paralysis, not being able to move forward.

There was a point where the earth was in a similar state: formless, empty and dark. Even though the Holy Spirit was present, things only began to change when God called forth light. Once light came, the remaining processes of creation followed smoothly and in order. This tells us how critical clarity (light) is.
This series we’re looking at clarity – what it looks like, how it comes and how to consistently walk in it so we’re never paralysed by confusion. We pray the Holy Spirit brings illumination and speaks to your specific circumstances as we go through this series. Click here to download the series.

Power in the Marketplace

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

There are many books, theories, seminars, etc. on power and exercising in order to achieve dominance in the marketplace. While many of these may have some value, a number are largely focused on people being the ones fully responsible for driving the process of wealth creation. This is why we hear statements where people either describe themselves or are described as “self-made”.

The Bible has a different perspective on wealth creation and sustenance as the focus is taken away from self alone and recognises God as the One who gives us the power to get wealth. This doesn’t in any way suggest believers shouldn’t work hard, have structures, acquire skills, knowledge, etc. However, the focus is on understanding that God alone provide the power that generates results beyond what a person can achieve purely in his/her own capacity.

This means it’s important to understand what this power looks like in real terms so we can partner with the Holy Spirit and recognise it when it’s in action. This series we are focusing on four categories of power, trusting that the Holy Spirit will give us a working understanding of what this looks like and how to access and work with it as God designed. Showering The Month in Prayer

‘Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.’ Zechariah 10:1 KJV

Welcome to a new month full of possibilities. We have the opportunity at the start of every month to shape what our experience will be for the rest of the days of the month. Sometimes we start a month strong and taper of somewhere around the middle and start trying to pick up again towards the end.

Zechariah 10:1 above tells us that the Lord will give showers of rain to every one grass of the field. From this we know God is both willing and able to water the month so we function in total purpose and productivity every day of the month. The first step is asking Him for the rain and that one of the keys to activating the watering is through prayer. What makes the difference isn’t just the activity of prayer, but the content.

This series we are going to explore how to intentionally design every day with specific and targeted prayer so that every day is not only watered, but fruitful, generating results that evidence the hand of God in our lives. Click here to download the study.
