The Power of Praise

‘Paul and Silas, undaunted, prayed in the middle of the night and sang songs of praise to God, while all the other prisoners listened to their worship. Suddenly, a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. All at once every prison door flung open and the chains of all the prisoners came loose.’ Acts 16:25-26 TPT

One of the weapons God has given the believer is the power of praise. When we praise the Lord with a sincere heart, things happen in ways we can’t even begin to imagine. Paul and Silas experienced this firsthand as they prayed and praised while in prison.

This series we’re looking at how the Lord uses our praise as an instrument to give us victory in different circumstances.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will encourage us as He reveals the power that is unleashed as we praise the Lord. Click Here to download the study.

Fasting – Unlocking the Supernatural

‘“Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face’ Matthew 6:16-17

Isn’t it interesting that when Jesus was talking to His disciples He did not say “if” but “when” you fast? Which means the expectation is that we are to fast at some point. There’s a lot said about prayer but not necessarily as much is said about fasting, even though the combination of the two done with understanding does amazing things in the life of a believer.

This series we will look at why we should fast, the benefits to us (physical and spiritual) and some of the types of fasts we can undertake using illustrations from the Bible.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will open our understanding and give us the grace to see the purpose of fasting from His perspective and also give us the grace to out into practice what He reveals to us. Click Here to download the series.

Breaking the Hold of Poverty

‘The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the broken-hearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.’ Isaiah 61:1

What is poverty? Very simply, poverty is the state of being inferior in quality or insufficient in amount. Poverty doesn’t only relate to money although that’s the primary area it attacks. It could be poverty of imagination, of health, relationships, anywhere there’s insufficiency then poverty is in operation.

Why then do some believers still experience lack and insufficiency? Didn’t Jesus pay the price to secure our freedom in every area? Jesus completely fulfilled all the legal requirements for our freedom. However, we may not have the full understanding of the price He paid and what it gives us access to which may in turn limit what we experience. When we receive this revelation of what we have access to, we will start looking at some of the things we entertain in our lives differently.

This series we are looking at the salvation Jesus wrought for us concerning poverty in our lives, the price He paid for us and 8 reasons that believers may not be experiencing the abundance Jesus paid for.

Our prayer is that God will grant us a spirit of revelation and show us what is in His heart concerning poverty and prosperity as it concerns His children. Click Here to download the study.
