The Lord our Source

‘They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.’ Psalms 37:19

This deep dive of 1 Kings 17 shows us that when we trust in the Lord as our source, we recognize that He is at liberty to use unusual avenues to provide for us. So even if the job ends or the business seems to crumble, He is more than able not just to get us back on track but position us in a better state than where we were before. When it comes to looking for help, we don’t have to depend on who we think we know. The Lord can lead us to those He’s already instructed to help us and cause us to find favour before them.

When we trust in the Lord as our source we’re also more willing to be generous to others because we know the one who provides for us can never run out. There’s no limit to what God can do in, with and around us when we put our trust in Him as our source. Click HERE to download the study.

Overcoming Fear

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:4 NKJV

Fear is something we all experience at some point in time. It could be a fear of the unknown future, fear within existing circumstances or sometimes fear of people, places or things. It’s not unusual to experience fear but it can be so ‘noisy’ it could overwhelm our mind and paralyze us from taking any steps if we allow it to dictate to us.

We may not be able to stop fear from speaking, but as believers we have the power and authority to silence fear through the word of God whenever it does speak to us.

This series we are looking at the tools we can use in overcoming fear through the word of God. Click here to download the series.
