Divine Direction: The Key to Accuracy and Fulfilment of Purpose

‘You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.’ John 15:16

Being in motion does not necessarily mean moving according to divine instruction. Jesus is extremely intentional about His plans for us and desire for us to bear good, lasting fruit as we fulfil our assignments, which can only come from being in alignment with His will per time.

Accuracy in fulfilling our assignments means we must also be accurate in following Him and His instructions. However, accuracy in the things of God will be impossible without the Holy Spirit providing the critical element of divine counsel, which ensures we’re at the right place at the right time, doing the right thing and getting the right God-ordained results.

This series we are going deeper into what receiving divine direction looks like in practice and how can we follow the pattern Jesus showed us through His life for this to be a reality we can not only aspire to, but also experience. Click Here to download the series.

Digging Ditches: Partnering With God for the Supernatural

‘And he said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.’ 2 Kings 3:16-18

The kings of Israel, Judah and Edom launched a combined military campaign against Moab but for seven days they and their armies wandered in the wilderness without water and were getting fatigued and despondent. However, the prophet Elisha gave a specific word from the Lord that turned everything around even though it didn’t seem to make sense.

This series we are looking at what digging ditches means for us especially as we fast approach the end of the year. It’s possible that just like the three kings we may be feeling fatigued and perhaps even despondent as well. But the same God that turned things around then in one day can do the same and more for us. Click Here to download the series.

Maturing Spiritually

‘And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.’ Luke 2:52

“Mature”: To fully develop, to reach the most advanced stage in a process

People are generally aspirational by nature – we want to be better tomorrow than we were yesterday in the areas that matter to us. As much as we may aspire, if we don’t put a structure in place to achieve that improvement it will just be a nice dream. This is why we go to school, develop ourselves in our field of expertise, eat healthy, exercise and so on.

When it comes to the things of the spirit it’s important that we also aspire to ascend to greater heights because our spiritual capacity is closely linked to our natural ability to achieve and sustain whatever we aspire to. Life is spiritual as such ascension in the things that draw us closer to God should be the goal for every believer. We must also seek His wisdom to understand how to navigate the issues of life so we can truly represent Him in every area of our assignment.

This month we are running the spiritual maturity series which explores 3 critical areas: growing in our prayer life, identifying and maximizing strategic associations, growing in influence and expanding our boundaries as part of our dominion mandate.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will give us the insight required so we end the year strong and start the coming year full of His wisdom. Click Here to download the series.
